How to block electronic number plates?

Hi there, I've heard that some states of USA are adopting new remotely controlled electronic number plates. I suppose that it may be dangerous to my privacy and would like to know what information they can share and how to block them. Any help will be appreciated!

Hello, James!

We at Jammer-Store agree that the idea with a remotely controlled number plates looks rather suspicious. First of all, you should know that those plates are still not widely spread, they are adopted in California and New Jersey. Those plates have caused lots of discussions because people still remember NSA's spying scandal and people suspect that some personal information may be gathered.

Senate supposes that those electronic plates will be used to display service information and may be some ads, as long as the device will be controlled remotely – government will be able to save a great sum of money, that were spent on various postal operations. The problem is device's GSM connectivity, it may be used for cell phone tower triangulation tracking

That's the most widely spread and cheap way of tracking, the only disadvantage here is the fact that it is not really accurate. But those electronic number plates is not the only thing that may harm driver's privacy, you may find more here. The good news are that those plates can be blocked with a simple GSM signal jammer. While jammer works no one will be able to track your location via cell tower triangulation, the only disadvantage here is that no mobile phones will work in a couple of meters around you. So be careful with jammers!

Thank you for your question, I hope, I've managed to help!
